Business Development -Account Manager
Colonial Marketing Group, a regional full service advertising agency, is looking for a dynamic personality that can develop and grow new business, manage accounts and assist in media creation, planning, placement and tracking. A minimum of 5 years advertising sales experience needed – past agency experience with new business development experience preferred. Candidate must be driven, self motivated and self managed. Candidate must be able to multi task, be creative and have a strong drive to exceed expectations and above all, be confident and consistent about calling on new businesses while keeping up with the market as a whole. Candidate must be skilled in the benefits and weaknesses of all media as well as multi platforms including creative and production, public relations, special products and promotions. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Responsibilities of this position will be to develop new in the Wilmington NC market as well as the adjacent DMAs of Florence/Myrtle Beach, Greenville Newbern, Raleigh and Greensboro, NC. Compensation will be based solely on sales and production of new business as a percentage of profit with a minimum introductory base salary.
