Jennifer Bloech

After realizing that 6 years with a very average GPA in undergrad wouldn’t result in the illustrious legal career she once envisioned, Jennifer Bloech ditched the dream of utilizing her Political Science degree and picked up a minor in broadcast communications. After graduating from UNC-Greensboro, she moved with a few friends to Wilmington and started getting rich making $5 an hour as a morning and midday production assistant for WECT. A better opportunity (one that didn’t require waking up at 4am) presented itself and Jennifer got a copywriting position with WGNI radio. After a year drafting copy she moved into sales upon the recommendation of the station’s owner. After 3 years in radio sales she moved to Charlotte for a job with ClearChannel radio. A year later she was back in Wilmington as general sales manager for Cumulus Broadcasting, overseeing WGNI and WAAV.

Jennifer is ADD and OCD, both traits serving her clients well as she is a multitasking perfectionist. (Not always a welcomed combination at home.) “Friendly” isn’t the first adjective used to describe her but she fights for her clients and doesn’t back down when it comes to negotiating.

Jennifer grew up in Lansdale Philadelphia and bleeds green. She is a diehard fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and has 2 tattoos to prove it. She is also passionate about animal rescue and volunteers for 3 Boston Terrier Rescue groups and serves as Vice President on the board for Pawz Foundation, the parent organization of Pawz in Park, an annual animal rescue event at Battleship Park in Wilmington. She rescues the senior Boston Terriers and her husband (lovingly) has termed her “The grim reaper of Boston Terriers.”

Jennifer and her fabulously doting husband, Chris, have 2 awesome little boys, Sam and Jack. Sam was named after Jennifer’s first Boston Terrier, Samantha, and she believes this fact will one day be the best pick up line he’ll use. Jack is her mini me, reminding her daily how much strife she gave her parents. She loves being their mother more than anything else in the world. She is known, on occasion, to enjoy a glass of red wine and unwinds by watching DVR’d episodes of Chopped with Chris.
